The search that started it

It started with
one student.

A 3L at a non-T14 law school. Around a 3.2 GPA. A search that needed more than another application.

The approach became more deliberate: research employers, tailor materials, find the right people, and reach out with a genuine reason to connect. Apply directly. Let relevant contacts know. Follow up thoughtfully.

That search included five BigLaw interviews. The experience became the starting point for Inroad: bringing that same research, care, and practical support to other law students.

One person’s experience, not a promise. The process cannot be credited with every interview, and individual results will vary.

01 / The starting point

Non-T14. Around a 3.2.

A third-year law student looking for a more deliberate way into competitive legal hiring.

02 / The work

Every approach considered.

Targeted employers. Tailored applications. Genuine connections. Thoughtful follow-up.

03 / The experience

Five BigLaw interviews.

Obtained during the original search that informed Inroad’s approach.

Before you start

Good questions.
Straight answers.

Do you help law students across the United States?

Yes. Inroad supports law students and recent graduates nationwide. Your search is built around the US markets, employer types, and practice interests you choose; there is no need to target a particular city.

Can you help with a 3L job search outside on-campus recruiting?

Yes. Inroad can help you research employers, organize direct applications, and prepare thoughtful outreach outside your school’s recruiting process. Bring your current search and your career office’s advice so the work can build on what you already have.

Is Inroad a legal recruiter or job board?

Inroad is an independent job-search support service. It does not list exclusive vacancies, recruit on an employer’s behalf, or place candidates. You choose which opportunities to pursue and send your own applications.

Can you guarantee a job or interviews?

No. Inroad helps improve the research, preparation, and execution behind your search. Employers make their own hiring decisions. The sprint does not guarantee responses, referrals, interviews, or employment.

Is this only for BigLaw?

No. The search starts with your goals and profile, including the employer types, practice areas, and geographic markets you want to pursue. Inroad does not promise interviews or placement with any employer.

Is this only for non-T14 students?

No. Inroad is for law students and recent graduates from any school who want hands-on help executing a deliberate legal job search.

Do you send applications or messages for me?

No. You review, approve, and send your own materials and communications. Inroad does not impersonate you, invent connections, or contact employers on your behalf.

What happens after I purchase?

After Stripe confirms payment, you’ll reach the onboarding page and complete your intake. Inroad will use your contact details to arrange the kickoff and confirm the sprint’s start date. Your one-week sprint begins on that agreed date, not when you click pay.

What information will I need to provide?

Your contact details, law school and graduation year, target markets and employer types, current search situation, and a PDF resume. GPA, class rank, LinkedIn, a transcript, and other background are optional. Please leave out Social Security numbers and unrelated sensitive information.

How long does the sprint last?

One week of hands-on support, beginning on the start date agreed at kickoff. It includes one kickoff / strategy conversation and one end-of-sprint review.

What if I already have a resume?

Bring it. The sprint includes reviewing your existing resume and offering feedback or customization where it helps a particular application. You do not need to start from a blank page.

Is this career coaching?

The emphasis is hands-on job-search work: employer research, application positioning, contact research, outreach, and follow-up. There are strategy conversations, but the service is built around a search you can execute.

Is my information kept private?

The website does not publish your intake or uploaded files. Materials are sent to the configured intake service for delivering your sprint; access and retention details are described in the Privacy Policy before payments open. Do not submit documents containing unrelated sensitive information.

What is included in the $249 pilot price?

One week of the support listed above, including intake, research, application and outreach assistance, search organization, a kickoff conversation, and an end-of-sprint review. This is a one-time payment. There is no subscription and no fixed quota of employers or contacts.

Find the right opportunities. Approach them deliberately.
